An Tran is a certified physician assistant who earned her Masters of Physician Assistant Studies from Stony Brook University in New York. Prior to PA school, she earned a Bachelors degree in Biology at the University of Maryland, College Park.
An practiced as a cardiothoracic surgery physician assistant at New York Presbyterian-Columbia for four years and the University of California San Francisco for two years prior to joining Colorado Heart and Vascular. During this time, she managed patients with coronary artery disease, valvular disease, aortic aneurysms and dissections, and advanced heart failure requiring mechanical circulatory assist devices (“heart pumps”) and heart transplants.
An believes in providing compassionate patient-centered care. She is passionate about building patient relationships, patient education, and patient advocacy.
In her free time, An enjoys spending time outdoors hiking with her rescue pup, biking, skiing, gardening, yoga, and cooking. She also loves to travel the world and immersing herself in different cultures (and food).
