Meet Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, Kim Riemer. She’s professional, and dedicated, to both her family and her patients. Her nursing career started in the Surgical ICU at Johns Hopkins in Baltimore, which incidentally is where she met her husband who is also a nurse. Kim graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a Master’s Degree as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner. In 2000, she moved to Boulder County, and began taking care of cardiology patients, and continues to practice primarily in Boulder County. Always working for smaller practices, she most values the relationships she builds, while helping people live their lives to the fullest, just like she does. When not at work, you can find Kim spending time with her family including her husband, son and dog. Running, skiing, mountain biking, dirt biking and traveling are just some of the activities they do as a family. Not only does she enjoy being active, but she also practices what she preaches by doing yoga, and “eating clean” most of the time.
