Dr. Bitar graduated from Canisius College (Buffalo, NY) with highest honors. He then went on to graduate from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry (Rochester, NY) via the Medical Scientist Training Program (MD and PhD). He completed his Internal Medicine residency and Cardiovascular Disease fellowship training at Scripps Clinic in La Jolla, CA, followed by Interventional Cardiology fellowship training at University of Missouri in Kansas City/Saint Luke’s Mid-America Heart Institute. He is passionate about patient care with respect to coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, valvular heart disease, arrhythmias, and heart failure.
Dr. Bitar is trained in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Interventional Cardiology, and Echocardiography.
In his spare time, he likes to exercise and be outside as much as possible with his wife and rescued black lab.
