Interventional Cardiology
Dr. Halpin is a board-certified cardiologist who specializes in Interventional Cardiology and Peripheral Vascular Interventions. Dr. Halpin is originally from the Greater Baltimore Area and completed medical school at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. He completed a residency in Internal Medicine and a year as a Chief Resident at Tufts Medical Center in Boston, MA. Dr. Halpin then moved on to Yale School of Medicine/Yale New Haven Hospital where he completed a fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine. At Yale he also pursued two-years of subspecialty training in Peripheral Vascular Interventions and Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Halpin’s clinical interests include the medical and minimally invasive management of atherosclerosis (blockages) in the blood vessels of the heart, neck, kidneys, and upper and lower extremities. He also has expertise in the management of venous reflux and varicose veins. Dr. Halpin believes in providing high-quality, patient-centered care using a collaborative approach with his patients. Dr. Halpin joined Colorado Heart & Vascular, PC in 2018.
Outside of work Dr. Halpin enjoys spending time with his family, rock climbing, running, reading and travel.
